A man mistaken for an addict soon finds himself addicted to the treatment designed to cure him.

For the past two years, I have been planning this film. I have poured my heart and soul into the story, and feel strongly for the characters. This is a film about a man mistaken for an addict and put through a rough, futuristic rehab treatment that finally does get him addicted.

'Pixey' is the first film of mine that will require professional animators, a professional composer and the voice talent of Youtube's very talented Brizzy Voices. I have thought over this project for years and it is very special to me. Contributors will not only receive the perks listed, but will be helping this project on its way to film festivals across the world.

To fund this project, I will need to pay a 3D animator, a 2D animator, a composer, a digital painter and a voice artist. I aim to raise $25,000 to cover all expenses.

Perks of funding this project will include a copy of the film, behind the scenes access, personal 'thank you' performances, executive producer credits and more! If this project isn't fully funded, all funds that aren't saved for production will go toward enhancing the second round of fundraising, OR producing a lower budget version of the film.

This film is very important to me and I've planned it out for years. Now I have the chance to pull together a very talented team for the next phase of our careers. The film revolves around the theme of addiction- a problem that many have faced- and tries to explore different aspects of it. It also tackles the question of 'What isn't addiction?' and seeks to address the answer.

I have faith in this film, and my abilities as an artist. In 2009, I won Best Animated Film in the 16 is to 9 International Film Festival in Mumbai, India, as well as being a winner of the Rosebud Award in Arlington, Virginia, I was awarded Daily 3rd Place on newgrounds.com and featured on the front page.
